What's next for educators on the Productivity Commission report?

With the draft report of the Productivity Commission hot off the presses yesterday, it's time to take action.

The draft report was the Commission's first attempt at providing the Federal Government with a plan to reform our sector. Prior to its release, hundreds of us across the country made contributions to the inquiry sessions, and while the Commission has heard some of what we told them, we still have work to do to ensure they recognise the importance of quality ECEC.

This where educators' expertise and experience is needed

Before the Commission finalises its recommendations to the government in October, it's holding sessions where educators can comment on the draft report. We need to be sure the Commission understands that quality matters, and there is no one better than educators to explain why - after all, educators are the experts in the sector.

This is our chance to speak out on the future of ECEC for children, families and educators. Sign up here.
