Victorian Early Childhood Union Leaders Council - Feb 2016 Meeting

Victorian Early Childhood Union Leaders Council - Feb 2016 Meeting

leaders_council_invite_meme2.jpg

2015 was a big year for early childhood educators. Thousands of educators joined our union. We hit the streets and raised our voices to be valued for our work.

But 2016 will be bigger. Much bigger.

We are cranking up our Big Steps campaign, with rallies and events across the year and around the country.

Our Professional Pay Case is being heard at the Fair Work Commission.

We need to let politicians and the community know it’s time to value every child and every educator by funding professional pay.

What is the Early Childhood Union Leaders Council?

It's where union delegates and other leaders from across Victoria meet and plan the steps we need to take in 2016 to build a strong union and secure government-funded professional pay for every educator. Your Council will meet three times this year. New people are always welcome.

NOTE: Lunch/refreshments provided! Children welcome. Free parking at rear of building.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Closest station? Melbourne Central. Tram routes? 57 (Peel St stop), 55 (Victoria St).
