Chains for Equal Pay - sign the petition!

Today we chained ourselves to Malcolm Turnbull's Melbourne office!

Almost 50 years ago, Zelda D’Aprano chained herself to a Commonwealth building in 1969, to protest against women being paid substantially less than men.

Today, as early childhood educators, we are still outrageously undervalued because 94% of our sector is female.

So on this very important day – International Women’s Day – we took action and that’s why we need you to sign our petition, calling on the Turnbull Government to fund wages that reflect our essential and invaluable profession.
